Steel designers can design both FABSEC® beams at ambient temperature condition and FIREBEAMS® in the fire condition. Infills are never required and good design can eliminate the need for any stiffeners which creates highly economical solutions.

The primary applications for FABSEC® beams are for long span composite and non-composite construction, which give fewer columns and enhanced architectural freedom.

These solutions are used in many sectors of the construction industry including offices, hotels, retail parks, hospitals, car parks and warehouses.

FIREBEAM® has been tested exhaustively at Warrington Fire Research Centre in a three year programme of loaded, coated, composite fire tests.
