Project Overview:
As part of the More London development on the south bank of the
Thames between London and Tower Bridges, Severfield-Reeve carried
out connection design, fabrication and erection of 1,540 tonnes of
structural steelwork, of which 936 tonnes were FABSEC® beams with
service holes profiled into the webs.
The steelwork was generally supplied with an off-site intumescent
coating to give a fire rating of 60 minutes. Also included within
the steelwork package was the supply and fixing of metal decking,
edge protection and steel stairs.
This project was a creditable health and safety performance with
the Group's "Off-Load Safe" unloading procedure used
